{"id":93226,"date":"2026-09-28T13:37:32","date_gmt":"2026-09-28T18:37:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecitizenfortheworld.com\/?p=93226"},"modified":"2026-09-28T13:37:32","modified_gmt":"2026-09-28T18:37:32","slug":"amnistia-internacional-los-mecanismos-de-represion-en-venezuela-no-han-cambiado","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecitizenfortheworld.com\/?p=93226","title":{"rendered":"Amnist\u00eda Internacional: Los mecanismos de represi\u00f3n en Venezuela no han cambiado"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>La secretaria general de AI, Agn\u00e8s Callamard, asegur\u00f3 en una entrevista con EFE que se han producido algunos &#8220;avances&#8221; en Venezuela en materia de derechos humanos en el \u00faltimo medio a\u00f1o, pero advirti\u00f3 sobre el riesgo de que esos cambios sean &#8220;superficiales&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La secretaria general de Amnist\u00eda Internacional (AI), Agn\u00e8s Callamard, considera que <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elnacional.com\/2026\/01\/centrados-denuncia-que-persiste-la-represion-en-venezuela\/\">\u201clos mecanismos de represi\u00f3n\u201d en Venezuela \u201cno han cambiado\u201d,<\/a> pese a la intervenci\u00f3n estadounidense que el 3 de enero pasado condujo a la captura de Nicol\u00e1s Maduro en Caracas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Callamard, que participa este lunes en un acto en Bogot\u00e1, asegur\u00f3 en una entrevista con EFE que se han producido algunos \u201cavances\u201d en Venezuela en materia de derechos humanos en el \u00faltimo medio a\u00f1o, <strong>pero advirti\u00f3 sobre el riesgo de que esos cambios sean \u201csuperficiales\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNuestro an\u00e1lisis es que ha habido algunos avances: han liberado a algunas personas que estaban detenidas. Pero nuestra principal preocupaci\u00f3n es que los mecanismos de represi\u00f3n no han cambiado: son las mismas personas, las mismas leyes, las mismas instituciones, la misma polic\u00eda: nada ha cambiado\u201d, denunci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En ese sentido, Callamard<strong> recalc\u00f3 que todo lo que hac\u00eda que la represi\u00f3n fuese sistem\u00e1tica en Venezuela sigue ah\u00ed <\/strong>y que su organizaci\u00f3n no ha visto que el gobierno de la presidenta encargada, Delcy Rodr\u00edguez, d\u00e9 suficientes pasos para atacar \u201cestos mecanismos de represi\u00f3n tan profundamente arraigados\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCelebramos el hecho de que la gente haya sido liberada. <strong>Es un cambio formidable, particularmente para ellos y sus familias. <\/strong>Nosotros celebramos el hecho de que algunas personas est\u00e9n regresando a Venezuela, pero estamos preocupados de que sea algo muy superficial que puede ser revertido muy r\u00e1pido\u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despu\u00e9s de la captura de Maduro, el Gobierno de Rodr\u00edguez anunci\u00f3 un proceso de excarcelaciones, que se ha extendido durante todo el a\u00f1o, y promovi\u00f3 una ley de amnist\u00eda que benefici\u00f3 a m\u00e1s de 8.000 personas, aunque la mayor\u00eda de ellas ya gozaban de libertad restringida.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDesde el punto de vista de AI, celebramos las pocas medidas que se han tomado desde la detenci\u00f3n de Maduro, pero nos preocupa mucho que la punta del iceberg se pueda ver un poco mejor, pero hay un iceberg de represi\u00f3n muy profundo que no est\u00e1 cambiando\u201d, insisti\u00f3 Callamard.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-maduro-debe-rendir-cuentas\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u201cMaduro debe rendir cuentas\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maduro enfrenta cargos en Estados Unidos que incluyen conspiraci\u00f3n para la importaci\u00f3n de coca\u00edna y posesi\u00f3n de ametralladoras y artefactos destructivos, en el marco de una trama de narcoterrorismo y corrupci\u00f3n que, seg\u00fan la acusaci\u00f3n, abarca m\u00e1s de dos d\u00e9cadas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEn este momento, (Maduro) se enfrenta a jueces en Estados Unidos en condiciones que equivalen a un secuestro. Eso no es justicia para el pueblo de Venezuela\u201d, apunt\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pero para la secretaria general de AI, <strong>Maduro debe rendir cuentas en Venezuela por los \u201ccr\u00edmenes de lesa humanidad\u201d que cometi\u00f3 contra el pueblo venezolano.<\/strong> Esto, considera, es dif\u00edcil que pueda ocurrir en Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa justicia para el pueblo consiste en que \u00e9l rinda cuentas por los cr\u00edmenes que cometi\u00f3 contra el pueblo de Venezuela.
