Un legislador de Hezbollah afirm\u00f3 el domingo que el grupo ser\u00eda capaz de \u201cfrustrar\u201d los objetivos de las negociaciones directas entre el L\u00edbano e Israel.<\/p>\n
En un acto celebrado en honor a los combatientes de Hezbollah ca\u00eddos en combate, Hassan Fadlallah declar\u00f3: \u201cEstas negociaciones, con todos sus resultados, no nos conciernen y no las implementaremos\u201d<\/b>.<\/p>\n
Hezbollah involucr\u00f3 al L\u00edbano en la guerra de Oriente Medio el 2 de marzo, cuando lanz\u00f3 cohetes contra Israel en apoyo de su aliado Ir\u00e1n.<\/p>\n
Los ataques israel\u00edes contra el L\u00edbano han causado desde entonces la muerte de m\u00e1s de 2.600 personas y el desplazamiento de m\u00e1s de un mill\u00f3n<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Los embajadores de L\u00edbano e Israel en Estados Unidos han mantenido dos reuniones en Washington en las \u00faltimas semanas, las primeras de este tipo en d\u00e9cadas.<\/p>\n
La primera reuni\u00f3n propici\u00f3 una tregua en los combates entre Israel y Hezbollah, mientras que L\u00edbano e Israel acordaron entablar negociaciones directas bajo la presi\u00f3n de Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n
Los dos pa\u00edses est\u00e1n oficialmente en guerra desde 1948.<\/b><\/p>\n
Hezbollah ha rechazado en\u00e9rgicamente las conversaciones<\/b>, y su l\u00edder, Naim Qassem, las ha calificado de \u201cpecado\u201d.<\/p>\n

Israel ha mantenido sus ataques mortales contra el L\u00edbano a pesar del alto el fuego del 17 de abril, que pretend\u00eda poner fin a m\u00e1s de seis semanas de guerra entre su ej\u00e9rcito y Hezbollah.<\/p>\n
