–<\/strong>\u00a0Ucrania “no teme” que Donald Trump se convierta en el pr\u00f3ximo presidente de Estados Unidos, dijo este lunes a periodistas el presidente del pa\u00eds, Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n

D\u00edas despu\u00e9s del\u00a0atentado contra la vida del expresidente estadounidense,<\/a>\u00a0Zelensky se neg\u00f3 a entrar en detalles sobre una posible presidencia de Trump.<\/p>\n

“No podemos hablar de la presidencia de Trump con ustedes todav\u00eda”, respondi\u00f3 Zelensky, reiterando que en \u00faltima instancia corresponde al “pueblo de EE.UU. que elige al presidente”.<\/p>\n

El l\u00edder ucraniano dijo que “cree” que, si Trump logra ganar las elecciones de noviembre, en las que hay mucho en juego, ambos a\u00fan se las arreglar\u00e1n para “trabajar” juntos.<\/p>\n

“No temo esto [una presidencia de Trump]”, dijo Zelensky, subrayando que la “mayor\u00eda del Partido Republicano apoya a Ucrania y al pueblo de Ucrania”.<\/p>\n

Reiter\u00f3 su fe en las “s\u00f3lidas relaciones de Ucrania con la parte republicana del Congreso”, refiri\u00e9ndose concretamente a las recientes reuniones que mantuvo con gobernadores republicanos durante un viaje a Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n

“Desarrollaremos estas relaciones independientemente del resultado, es decir, de cu\u00e1l sea la elecci\u00f3n del pueblo de Estados Unidos en noviembre. As\u00ed que no veo grandes amenazas en este sentido”, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 Zelensky.<\/p>\n

Zelensky tambi\u00e9n se mostr\u00f3 esperanzado en que EE.UU. no incumpla su compromiso de donar junto a sus aliados de la OTAN otros US$ 40.000 millones en ayuda a Ucrania.<\/p>\n

“Que yo recuerde, uno de los argumentos de Donald Trump cuando era presidente sobre sus relaciones y proporciones con la OTAN era que si EE.UU. da un d\u00f3lar, Europa tambi\u00e9n deber\u00eda dar un d\u00f3lar. Y si miras cu\u00e1nto est\u00e1 dando Europa ahora en t\u00e9rminos de apoyo a Ucrania, si Europa da 30.000 millones, estamos satisfechos con esta proporci\u00f3n”, agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n
