Sin embargo, pocas personas conocen sus m\u00faltiples beneficios para la salud.<\/p>\n<p class=\"section sp-8\">En concreto, los aguacates contienen fibra diet\u00e9tica, grasas saludables y otros componentes que se han asociado a una buena salud cardiovascular.<\/p>\n<p class=\"section sp-8\">De hecho, la OMS incluye al aguacate dentro de las fuentes que deber\u00edan predominar en ese m\u00e1ximo de un\u00a0<b>30 % de ingesta cal\u00f3rica diaria que proceda de las grasas en una dieta saludable,\u00a0<\/b>junto a los frutos secos, el aceite de oliva, o los pescados grasos.<\/p>\n<p class=\"section sp-8\">Ahora bien, un equipo cient\u00edfico ha constatado que\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.semana.com\/vida-moderna\/articulo\/mascarilla-casera-con-te-negro-para-cubrir-las-canas\/202330\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">comer dos o m\u00e1s porciones de esta fruta a la semana, en horas de la ma\u00f1ana, est\u00e1 relacionado con un menor riesgo de enfermedad cardiovascular,\u00a0<\/a>especialmente enfermedad coronaria, seg\u00fan afirma un estudio observacional publicado en el\u00a0<i>Journal of the American Heart Association.<\/i><\/p>\n<div class=\"section sp-10 mb-24\"><picture><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"mx-auto max-w-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.semana.com\/resizer\/Zd4KtcIga3XZdPMg37Odwp-MyCc=\/fit-in\/768x0\/smart\/filters:format(jpg):quality(80)\/cloudfront-us-east-1.images.arcpublishing.com\/semana\/5IQVL5AGR5GB5AYVFG6S5YNSZU.jpg\" alt=\"Creativo Getty\" \/><\/picture><\/div>\n<div class=\"section sp-10 mb-24\"><em>Ayuda a que se regule la presi\u00f3n arterial, previniendo, por tanto, los accidentes cerebrovasculares y las enfermedades card\u00edacas.\u00a0&#8211; Foto:\u00a0Getty Images<\/em><\/div>\n<p class=\"section sp-8\">La investigaci\u00f3n, que se ha llevado a cabo a lo largo de 30 a\u00f1os sobre 62.225 mujeres y 41.701 hombres, evidencia que los consumidores de aguacate tienden a tener niveles m\u00e1s altos de colesterol de lipoprote\u00ednas de alta densidad (HDL), un menor riesgo de s\u00edndrome metab\u00f3lico, y menor peso, \u00edndice de masa corporal (IMC) y circunferencia de la cintura, en comparaci\u00f3n con los no consumidores de aguacate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"section sp-8\">Adem\u00e1s, al ser una importante fuente de potasio y bajo en sodio,\u00a0<b>ayuda a que se regule la presi\u00f3n arterial,<\/b>\u00a0<b>previniendo, por tanto, los accidentes cerebrovasculares y las enfermedades card\u00edacas<\/b>.
