Hace unos d\u00edas se conoci\u00f3 sobre unas nuevas actualizaciones que aplicar\u00eda Google en varias de sus aplicaciones, una de ellas es Google Fotos. Aqu\u00ed le contamos de qu\u00e9 se trata<\/h3>\n<\/header>\n

Google Fotos es un servicio de almacenamiento y gesti\u00f3n de fotos e im\u00e1genes, que permite a los usuarios cargar, organizar y compartir\u00a0sus im\u00e1genes de manera sencill<\/a>a. Una de las principales caracter\u00edsticas de esta aplicaci\u00f3n es su capacidad para realizar copias de seguridad autom\u00e1ticas de las fotos y videos almacenados en dispositivos m\u00f3viles, como smartphones y\u00a0tabletas que cuenten con una cuenta de Google.<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Una vez que las im\u00e1genes est\u00e1n en la nube,\u00a0los usuarios pueden acceder a ellas desde cualquier dispositivo<\/a>\u00a0con una conexi\u00f3n a internet. . Adem\u00e1s, Google Fotos ofrece herramientas de edici\u00f3n b\u00e1sicas, como recorte, ajuste de brillo y contraste, as\u00ed como la posibilidad de crear \u00e1lbumes, collages y pel\u00edculas\u00a0a partir de las fotos almacenadas.<\/a><\/p>\n

No obstante, hace algunos d\u00edas se conoci\u00f3 que la plataforma\u00a0tendr\u00e1 algunas actualizaciones<\/a>, raz\u00f3n por la cual se generaron varias especulaciones sobre una posible desaparici\u00f3n de la aplicaci\u00f3n, que las personas perder\u00edan todas sus fotos si no actuaban a tiempo y dem\u00e1s. Sin embargo, esto no es cierto, simplemente con la nueva actualizaci\u00f3n cambiar\u00e1\u00a0una de las funciones disponibles dentro de Google<\/a>\u00a0Fotos. Aqu\u00ed se lo contamos.<\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 pasar\u00e1 con Google Fotos?<\/h1>\n

Juan Carlos Morales, creador de contenido, asesor en temas de educaci\u00f3n digital y experto de producto de Google, aclar\u00f3 que no es cierto lo que anda rondando por internet sobre que Google Fotos va a desaparecer y que es una informaci\u00f3n que ha sido malinterpretada\u00a0por algunos portales y medios de comunicaci\u00f3n.<\/a><\/p>\n

Sobre lo que realmente suceder\u00e1 ser\u00e1 lo siguiente: \u201cLa principal novedad va sobre la funci\u00f3n \u201cArchivo de \u00e1lbumes\u201d. Este servicio s\u00ed desaparecer\u00e1, de hecho, es posible que muchas personas tengan algunas fotos y videos,\u00a0de otros servicios Google<\/a>, que bien se pueden conservar\u201d.<\/p>\n

Morales explic\u00f3 c\u00f3mo las personas pueden verificar si tienen fotos en \u201cArchivo de \u00e1lbumes\u201d, ingresando al siguiente enlace:\u00a0https:\/\/get.google.com\/albumarchive<\/a>. Al momento de ingresar aparecer\u00e1 un aviso que dice: \u201cEl archivo de \u00e1lbumes dejar\u00e1 de estar disponible. Las fotos y los v\u00eddeos que veas aqu\u00ed dejar\u00e1n de estar disponibles a partir del 19 de julio del 2023. Puedes usar Takeout para descargar\u00a0estos elementos antes de esa fecha\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n

En el mismo aviso estar\u00e1 el bot\u00f3n \u201cIr a Takeout\u201d, sin embargo, tambi\u00e9n podr\u00e1 revisar el\u00a0\u201cArchivo de \u00e1lbumes\u201d<\/a>. Cuando quiera ir a la funci\u00f3n y mencionada ser\u00e1 dirigido a otra ventana con la opci\u00f3n \u201cCrea una Exportaci\u00f3n\u201d con la posibilidad de elegir fotos y videos del archivo que desaparecer\u00e1, luego debe pulsar en \u201cSiguiente\u201d para elegir\u00a0el tipo de archivo, la frecuencia, el destino y el tama\u00f1o.<\/a><\/p>\n

Por \u00faltimo, solo deber\u00e1 pulsar en el bot\u00f3n \u201cCrear Exportaci\u00f3n\u201d para que Google cree la copia de los archivos que tenga disponibles. Tenga en cuenta que esto puede durar horas o quiz\u00e1 d\u00edas, sin embargo, siguiendo los pasos no ser\u00e1 necesario hacer nada m\u00e1s y ya podr\u00e1 cerrar la ventana y\u00a0acceder cuando quiera para comprobar el proceso.<\/a><\/p>\n
